Cutting cable

Trying to figure out how to watch Canes games. Bally seems to only cover Florida. But cable is insane.

I can watch on the computer, but I need weekend yard games.

I changed from Direct TV (they are in dispute with Fox and can’t watch Panthers) to Hulu and got the package with ESPN+, now I will use my NordVPN ($5 month) to pretend to be out of town and watch on ESPN+

Only other option for me was to to pay $20 a month for Bally App, wasn’t going to do that.

A whole lot of gymnastics to watch my home team.

I got rid of DirecTV as well and went to Hulu with the ESPN+ package. I'm not sure if I live far enough from Raleigh to be able to watch on ESPN+, to be honest.

If it comes to pass that I'll need the Bally app @ $19.95, then I'll pay it during the hockey season.

Ya from legit lines looking more and more like the Bally app is the only option.

I have the Disney/ESPN×/Hulu bundle. Hoping I can find a Reddit stream and cast it to the tv.

Nord VPN is only $4 a month and will allow you to watch on ESPN+

VPN also has added bonus of ad blockers and general internet security. Not a bad idea to use one when browsing generally, not that I’m any expert

Y’all need to learn to VPN. You can be anywhere you want in the world at any time. The issue is VPNing between your router and tv.

Or you can sail the seven seas. I can teach you the fundamentals of being a pirate very quickly.

Send me a PM. I was doing it on my computer but could never cast to TV without it screwing up the feed. I might do fubo because they have bally plus locals and all the others for 75 a month.

I use VPN app on fire stick so no computer link needed.

Open up app on Firestick/Amazon Tv and connect to server in New York then open up ESPN+ app and canes games are available on TV.

Are all the games on ESPN+ ?

All but three of the regular season games will be on ESPN+ if you're out of state.

The three that aren't are Nov 15, Dec 6, and Jan 24; those are all on TNT, so you'd need either a cable, satellite, or streaming live TV service like YouTube TV etc if you want to watch those legally.

Also remember playoff games after the first round are all ESPN/TNT, so ESPN+ wouldn't cut it for those.
