please don't say that. People were saying that about New England and they shut us down. Besides, did you see how they handled the redskins monday night? even though it was the redskins, still crazy.

Yeah they shut us down but Matt still threw a 40+ yard bomb.

Redskins are on an epic level of fail and everyone knows that.

His yards per catch are down this year but still respectable at 15.4. Its been a tough year for Smith. His success with Moore has to be a fresh breath of air during a stale season.

Down from last year (which was his career high) but still above his career average.

He's had 1 game with over 3 catches with Moore. Hard to call that much more than a "breath".

Yeah 15.4 is good for Smith. He is not in the top 15 for yards per catch average for receivers with over 40 catches. If we count everyone no matter how few catches, he isn't in the top 45. Which is why I mentioned he was down compared to his peers. BTW Barnidge is 5th. He only has 12 catches but he is averaging 20 yards per catch.

From a number of catches point of view Moore and Smith have not had great numbers but from a yards per catch average it's been very good. So far this year, Smith is averaging 22 yards per catch with Moore which is well above his season average of 15.4.

Yea he did throw a 40 yard bomb. All day our passing game was about luck and I think most people know it. New England had alot of chances to get picks, but we got some lucky throws sometimes.

Im not gonna argue the skins suck, but they are still a professional football team that the Gaints just obliterated.

it's unbelievable that his 40 plus yard catches are that high, it seems like we've rarely gotten him the ball down field.

Now imagine what type of receiver steve smith would be if he had a payton manning. the dude would be one of the best of all time. no lie

He's already one of the best of all time.

The first two or three drives, Matt made some very bad throws. But after that, he settled down, and all of his passes were on target, the ones he was able to get off anyway when we were not getting a penalty or some other crap.
