Moore Bandwagon

GTFOH, What did Campbell do to them last week? Exactly. Jake would be out there throwing badly. Moore is still improving and throwing very good passes

I hate fans trying to spoil everything

I agree. WTF does he have to prove. He is in EVERY game he has played. He is getting better and better each week.

Some fans are just hell bent on drafting a QB. It doesn't matter if John Elway, Peyton Manning and Brett Farve were sitting on the bench behind him.

Our team looks like the team we thought they were going to be coming into the season.

Good Job Matt.

Go Panthers

Let's call it like it is. Giants LB's and Secondary are all scrubs and backup players. You can't sit here and tell me after 3 or 4 games that this guy is the answer, that's just crazy. It is alot different pressure being a starter all year long as appose to the last 4 games. I will not buy into Moore until he is a starter from camp all the way to game 4 of next year and produces.

How many starters are the Panthers down on offense? It works both ways.

(not to mention the same thin receiving corps we've had all year)

I'm still undecided, but the scales are tipping pretty strongly toward letting Matt Moore be the placeholder next year and drafting a rookie.

You're seeing a natural progression with him now as he gets more and more starter reps, and it's a good one.

Who do you see in the draft that we could possibly get that is a "franchise, long term solution"

It's hard to tell with draft prospects, but when you are looking at free agents they have already had a chance with one team and for whatever reason haven't been able to work out. You've already got a glimpse of what they can do can do at the pro level whereas draft prospects are all potential.

But to answer your question, I wouldn't mind us taking Tony Pike in the 2nd round.

He cant help it. The hatred in his heart for Vick is stronger than the respect he has for Dan Morgan. Nothing means more to him than that.

And your racist bigotry in your heart is stronger than the actual facts that are there.

If any other poster had said the samethings Dan has had, you and Jensen and everyone else would be all over his ass saying way worse things. What I said wasn't even bad. Stern, but wasn't bad. He'll be facing way harsher words than what I've said in the future. If he can't take what I said, then he shouldn't be doing what he's doing. However, I think he can. All I did was call for better information and better analysis given who he is.

i agree with that, but we need to bring some competition in

Dan, I agree--

we HAVE to draft a QB....

With the play of Moore- no one can argue that he doesnt deserve a CHANCE-- BUt you still have to bring in someone..

Moore- #1

Jake- #2

Rookie #3

Let them battle in TC and the best man win.

At least we have some good competition...

Fox should have put Moore in week 3 i agree, that's why i can't say he is the answer just yet. Let's see what he does early in a season as a starter when the pressure is on, that's all i'm saying. He is playing great today but let's not put a crown on him just yet. Like i said the Giants Secondary Blows.

I guess the Vikings sucked as well.

Dan, you are one of my all time favorite players, but come on man, please quit knocking the kid. I was in Houston to see you play in the Super Bowl, 17 rows from the field, sitting right in front of Jeff Fisher, and saw how sick you were every time you came to the sidelines with whatever illness you had. Saw you puking, etc. Have a jersey of ever color of yours, and you've signed many of panther memorabilia for me at TC.

I would think your heart would be more in to supporting what is working with this team right now, instead of what seems to me as trying to tear it down.

We all love Jake, and always will appreciate what he has meant to this organization, but give this kid a chance please. If it doesn't work, we are no worse off, and we'll go from there.

Thanks man. :cheers2:

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
