I agree, I don't think we could get anyone better at this point. We're doing the right thing by letting him just play out his contract especially with the threat of no 2011 season.

We don't really feel it around the huddle, but around the league, Fox is actually a very highly respected coach. I don't think he'd have a problem finding a job. He knows it. And that's why I have to agree with the OP. As for my opinion, I'm indifferent.

I wouldn't mind seeing Fox stay either. We have to remember that Fox's loyalty to Jake is what caused this teams demise. Yeah Fox makes some questionable decisions here and there, but he's still an exceptional post-season coach (Ariz game was all Delhomme).

After looking at Fox's comments after the game yesterday regarding his future, I would have to say that there is a good possibility that he has coached his last game with the Panthers. He definitely didnt sound too pumped up about his situation. He could have just came out and said that he loved coaching the Panthers, yadda yadda yadda, but he didnt. Could get very interesting around here in the next few weeks.....

I suspect unless Fox gets a deal he can't turn down he will be here. His loyalty extends to the organization as well as his players.
