Its bad when someone takes the raiders OC job over the bears.

The perception is that no one wants to come work for Smith, who is in a win-or-else situation, but rumblings at the Senior Bowl are that some candidates could be turned off by quarterback Jay Cutler and don’t want to hitch their wagon to him. Still, few quarterbacks possess the skills of Cutler. Today marks Day 21 of the coaching search.

Well, we were all suprised when he ended up with the Bears. That being said, its very less likey the Bears give him up after giving up 2 Firsts.

Mike Martz is (probably for the reason you mentioned), but the Bears aren't picking up that line.

Yes, cause working with Russel or Gradkowski is so much better. I'd coach Cutler any day.

At some point, you have to wonder if perhaps its not the Quarterback thats the problem with the Chicago passing game. Every Bears QB has looked bad over the last few years, but Orton looked better in Denver, while Cutler looked worse. Not that I know what the problem is.

I have been saying the same thing. Moose went there and looked average at best came back here and looked like he hadn't missed a beat. My thinking is there is some deep seeded offensive decision making/coaching problem.

It is pretty hard to pass consistently in Chicago due to the winds if I am not mistaken.

Might be something to that. The last Hall of Fame QB the Bears had was Sid Luckman, during the WWII era.

Chicago should have invested in a dome stadium instead of Jay Cutler.

But that doesn't make much sense seeing as the Bears tend to suck through the air regardless of where they play. I think its coaching myself.
