Say what you want about his quarterbacking skills, but it seems as though no one seems to think it's OK for a someone to pay out $3.1 million dollars for 30 seconds and have their views on subjects such as this represented by a famous collegiate QB. Especially during the Superbowl.

"I don't feel like I'm very preachy about it, but I do stand up for what I believe. Unfortunately in today's society, not many athletes seem to do that. I always stand for something."

Wow does anyone else think that comes across as extremely arrogant and superior?

I don't know about all that.

Immature stance? Perhaps. From what I understand, the ad is his mom talking about how she was advised by dr's to abort. She didn't and here is Timmy.

She made a CHOICE and the outcome worked out pretty well.

The pro choice crowd doesn't like it but the ad is NOT slamming the abortion crowd, simply, again, from what I have gathered, a positive message of a womans choice in that scenario.

So are you trying to tell us that this is a pro choice ad? HAHAHA

Here's the deal, she HAD the choice. She has the choice. She will have the choice.

The ad is about trying to convince at risk pregnant women that hey, maybe they could live through a pregnancy that their doctor does not recommend they try to do! Just forget what your doctor tells you and go for it!

Their bodies, their choice.

If they want to go through a risky pregnancy, then they need to know that it's okay for them to do so.

Harrah's commercials and NC Lottery commercials encourage me in the same way to blow all of my money in casinos and on scratch off cards. Should they be taken off the air?

Tell me, why do you hate liberty so much?

Yep, this should clear this thread into the tinderbox in 5,4,3,2...

Say the same thing here I said elsewhere...

How many people on here could even tell you what any Panther player's political views are?

Character issues matter. Political beliefs don't. I'm not going to pick what team I cheer for based on who has the most conservatives. Nor do I think any other fan - conservative or liberal - would choose on such criteria.

So someone is spending 3.1 million dollars to remind people that they don't have to listen to their doctors. That's great.

You are the one jumping too conclusions. She is highlighting the outcome of a good choice.

So, in the middle of this so called choice facade, the doctor, NOT the woman, is the decider?

Are dr's infallable and never wrong? Of course not. Are there some bad examples of women who did not listen to their doc and the outcomes were bad? Yep. But those women had that choice.

So fake outrage is exclusive to what liberals do wrong? ha ha ha ha

The message of risking a life to save a life isn't a noble cause to you?

Remind me not to hang off of any cliffs near you.

    • Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .
    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
