Music doesn't suck, people do. That said, I think choosing bands that were at their prime 30 years ago is just a way too safe of a selection because of what happened with Janet Jackson. There is a band out there that's one of my favs that is still relevant to today. Shinedown. They're straight up rock and roll. Or Chris Daughtry. Or like someone mentioned, B.E.P. if they want to go the hip hop route. Or Rob Thomas or Nelly Furtado if they want to go the pop route. There's still good "safe" artists out there that are relevant to today, but they are just too scared of another Janet incident. If they keep it up, one of these fossils they keep booking is going to break a hip... then what.

True. Who gives a fug about the halftime show? I would rather see them trot out the local high school band in the background as they're discussing the game (SHORTEN HALFTIME PLEASE). fugin' A I hate the Super Bowl halftime! That is usually when I knock down a few more cold ones and take a piss. Get on with the fugin' game for fugs sake!

      I'm expecting once Ransom shows he has a solid grasp on running the backend with Moehrig that he'll take over for Scott. The safeties have to chirp with each other quite a bit since they're often rotating based on whatever the play call dictates (ie: aligning with the strong side or man).

      idk how the three Mooney drops and two missed field goals can be chalked up to Penix being horrible, but he definitely fell apart later in the game when down two scores and having to be one dimensional on offense. There was a couple of passes too that were affected by the rush to force them off topic. Once Penix was uncomfortable, he unraveled further. Then again, if folks are looking for a reason to not hope yet by finding reasons to dismiss the performance, carry on I suppose?
