Mid air deflections like that are nearly unstoppable..... not a softie at all not much a goalie can do.

Seems to me a lot of this was not playing the core together very much preseason. Essentially making this preseason quality.  

I figure this game will show us where we really are.

The entire NHL does it that way... The first ten games every year are usually very sloppy.

Maybe just my memory but Canes sure seemed to play a lot more new players this preseason compare to the past.

Initially, I didn’t see the deflection. Just saw the replay and it was an uptight deflection which makes it near impossible…. Not much real estate for PK to adjust.
