It’s coping because BY is making this all star Offensive cast look bad I guess..

Your opinion.. Love Stroud but at some point ppl have to admit that Houston built a better team and the other players should get some credit..

It's coping because you and others have made it a weekly mission to tell us how terrible every single player on offense not named Bryce Young has been while acting as if the Texans assembled a Super Bowl team around Stroud. Yes the Texans did a better job than we did but CJ is elevating his offense around him and being a leader. No one can know what impact he would have here with this supporting cast. But I can tell you his arm talent would absolutely have to be accounted for by any defense we face. They would be playing us differently for sure despite our circumstances.

so do you trust the people that built this team to think that Young is the best qb of the draft?  Thats a bit of a oxymoron.  You are saying we have dumb asses building the roster but hey they totally nailed the first pick just not every pick after or the free agents or the head coach.  That literally doesnt make sense and is full fuging cope

lol why can’t Stroud be better AND be in a better position with his team? Both things can be true.

for you as well:

It’s not coping admitting facts..

Houston is a better team.. They put Stroud in a better situation..

Giving credit to them isn’t coping..

Man you are eager to use this cope word. Let me slow it down for you.

Stroud is better than Young and should have been the top pick. Can you handle that comment?

Ok Houston’s staff also did a better job than ours in creating a roster for a rookie QB to have success in. Is this the comment that bothers you?

Literally both comments are insulting our staff and roster including Young.

we drafted a wr to help, we drafted a top rated guard to help, our scouting got it wrong but yet you are convinced our scouting nailed the bryce pick.  fuging odd

    • I believe I just read somewhere that the Rams don't do Top 30 Visits. I mean, it makes sense from the standpoint of trying to keep information close to the vest.
    • I'm not sure 19 is too high for Rodriguez anymore.  He looks to be moving up boards, but it could be smokescreens.
    • I see XL this way---great athlete.  Good person.  When we drafted him, we knew he was raw.  One year of WR in college (starting) and in HS, he was a QB, I believe. We knew we would need patience with him.  I think year 3 will be make or break.  He is older, and I think that people with his athletic ability have always been better than those with less---but those with less can become more successful.  Why is that?  in my view, it is mental. XL can learn the mechanics and nuances of playing WR if he becomes focused on it and works at it.  I had the opportunity to talk to Armanti Edwards one day after OTAs (great guy) and he discussed how overwhelming it was.  He seemed shocked.  At that time, I knew that Fox hated the pick (I heard him mock Armanti to another coach when he saw Edwards drop a punt from a jugs machine--then I saw Armanti look back at Fox as if to suggest that he was feeling the pressure to please the coach. We forget that these are kids in their early 20s.  At the time, Fox was a lame duck.  Remember when he had Clausen as the #3 QB and was forced to move him up the ladder?  I liked Fox, but I think the climate and culture was influenced by the politics.  Currently, I see another Wr from SC who is struggling, but he is ina  very nurturing, positive culture. Let's see what happens with XL.  I am frustrated too---but XL was a second round talent who was raw and we traded up to get him.  He had 500 yards as a rookie--lets call 2025 a sophomore slump and see if we can't get at least 50 yards per game out of him.  If not, cut bait.
