This is a nice draft…not a fan of Joe Milton but that late worth it

Thanks.  I got really lucky.

Joe is the anti-Bryce.

Reading the field - Nope

Decision making - Nah

Prototype size - Yeah if not exceptional

Rocket launcher  - Maybe best in draft

The big WR's, an eventual replacement for Boze, and sadly Wilson would be in Luvu's spot.

This is what happens when not quite as lucky. Mitchell is raw and might take time. We actually don't have much time we need a impact at WR quick. Love Frazier pick.  Like a younger Boze.  Isaiah hopefully can fit in at guard.  Then we switched to defense. Tommy is a throwback thumper. Randolph Jr could grow into 3-4 DE.  He is already 6-5 and 300 something. Jaylon could fit as a backup SS and special team guy.

Only did four rounds cause if this happened it's fairly obvious what the later rounds should be.  A olineman, another WR, TE or RB.  Just offensive weapons. Sweat being there at 65 was a miracle. I've toyed with taking him at 33. Putting him beside Brown is intriguing. Darius is a 3-4 DE which we need cause if we gonna commit to the scheme we need young players that fit it and stop relying on vets. Mitchell is Jaycee insurance. If Horn is healthy. Big IF we have two young bookend CB's. Tez is the token WR we hope becomes Youngs safety blanket.  Plus he UNC so homer logic says he can sell tickets and get locals excited.  Gotta get lucky at guard but this draft could help the defense quick.

I live in Knoxville and Milton just doesn’t have it. He doesn’t seem that competitive and doesn’t like running because he wants to avoid contact (which I understand, but it sets a stagnant tone for the offense). He looks good when everything is working, but one penalty or blown up play and he starts to get flustered. If someone can light a fire in him, he definitely has some raw talent.

    • I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.
    • Jimmy came thru today I hope he is active next week   (2) NFL on X: "Bryce Young to Jimmy Horn Jr. on 4th down! MIAvsCAR on FOX/FOX One https://t.co/HkKw7uXVnt https://t.co/FYOfsxtAMk" / X
    • Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
