Yeah here in Winston about 5 years ago, we had 4 or 5 days of little trimmers. That is about how they sounded, like an explosion. The first one was at 4am and I thought a truck had gone by and was wondering why the hell a truck is traveling through the neighborhood at that time in the morning. Just those little ones at about 2.3 something like that, all I could wonder is how do people live in California with that threat over their heads all the time?? And so much stronger....I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I remember that. There is a small fault line that runs through the piedmont. I think it comes down through the Blue Ridge mountains.

I remember them some where so small that if you didnt know what a earthquake was you wouldnt have known it. Alaska has some weird ones. One I heard coming before it hit and knew which way it was coming.

here is a site to check them. Epi get ready for some aftershocks.

I thought you can only feel 4.0 and above but I don't know for sure.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
