Washed my pager

Could not find it for the last 3 days. Today, when I did laundry, found it after the wash was finished. (just soap, no bleach)

It is just a basic pager. Anyone had this experience? Did it come back to life after dry?

Worried that the laundry detergent caused additional problems. However....now have the pager covered with rice.

Cell phone went in lake norman one time. Never came back. So I am no help

I honestly did not know pagers where still produced.

My husband has one for Wachovia - many times he gets automated pages when something goes wrong with the software he supports. That's why he carries one.

I dropped my Blackberry in a hot tub last night for about 3 minutes before I realized where it was. Didn't have any rice, but I baked it under my girlfriend's hair dryer for 10 minutes then left it next to the fire overnight. It works, but it's kinda jacked up today. I'll get some rice when I get the courage to drive down this mountain.

We've had about 10 inches atop Junaluska in Boone since 6pm last night. 17 was the high today.
