@Adam_Schefter:

No big surprise, but Cardinals will not franchise LB Karlos Dansby for 3rd straight year. He will be allowed to test free-agent market.

the past 2 years the Cardinals couldn't strike a deal with Dansby, so this year they will part ways with him. too bad hes not a DE. But hes a stud LB.

I pretty much thought this was a no brainer. If you tag a player three straight years, the 3rd year the player makes an average of the top 5 of any position. Dude would have been making QB money at LB. No way of happening, not even on the Raiders.

shhhhhh now we both know thats not true.

yea... ummm.... i dont see the benefit of having a beefy LB corp in this age of the NFL when the pass is so dominant, i would rather have 3 sick nasty DB's than 3 sick nasty LB, think about it.

Having 3 sick nasty players at any position will be an advantage, the game is too balanced to really say what will work out the best.

Our LBs aren't what you would call beefy, both are undersized. Do you think we would have had such a great pass D without them?

I like a strong front 7 before the secondary, DBs can't tackle what a crap front 7 let's through and they can't cover a QB the front 7 never gets too.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
