I think it would be good if Evero stays.  I want the Canales/Evero combo then we can get a comp when Evero gets hired about another team in the future.

if basically the only change is Frank/Brown and keeping everything as is or promoting from what was there…..that’s too much of the old for my liking.   We have a lot to issues to fix.  Lack to culture is one.  I’m a firm believer we need new people/faces.  Preferably ones the new HC wants and isn’t assigned.   I don’t think any new HC should be assigned most of his key staff.

Nah overhaul the whole offense.  Campen, Frank, (Brown, McCown and Staley are already gone), get Jefferson away from our WRs.  Let Canales build his offensive staff from the ground up.  If he wants his own defensive guy, that's fine, but Evero is solid there.

I’m not implying Ejiro isn’t a good coach.  He is good.

I just don’t think a new HC that is also tasked with installing a good culture in a franchise that has none…..should be assigned a staff, that largely was the staff assigned to the last fired HC.

Looks like Tabor is gone.

    • I could use less of Steve Smith's opinion in my life.
    • It probably would be. Given that most 6th and 7th rounders aren't NFL game day material except on the Panthers, the pick might improve us slightly with a drafted player, but I'd like to see us actually be able to open up the field. I do think some of our offensive problem stem from defenses aren't afraid of Bryce's arm. They cover a short field and that makes life a lot easier for them.  If it doesn't work though, unless we get rid of the scouting department and whatever drafting algorithm Dave is making us use, it won't really matter anyway.
    • I think the Baker/Darnold thing has been overblown. QBs that struggle with the team that drafts them and go on to find success elsewhere often do end up going to multiple new teams before they figure it out and/or find the right situation. It just so happened that we traded for both guys in back-to-back years and neither player had quite figured it out yet. Baker, I think, needed more time and a better supporting cast. Darnold, I think, benefitted from a year on the bench in San Francisco a ton. I don't really have any ill will towards either of them. I think they both came here with the best intentions after coming from difficult circumstances; unfortunately the Panthers were - and still are, it seems - also in the process of figuring things out.
