Where ever Pep goes do you wish him the best?

Mr.50% gave us his best years (his best years are say it with me O-V-E-R) but I hope he finds success whereever he goes. He is a cool guy from what I know and heard...no beef from me. Unless he goes to NE, ATL, Tampa (lol) Dallas, or NE that is.

If this is already a thread or you've merged a Pep thread I'm sorry, I haven't been here in a while and didn't see it.

I don't wish ill will on anybody but i hope he has a good life. It's been great watching him play for all these years. I'm so happy that when we wen't 1-15 we were able to pick him and not make a mistake by drafting harrington.

As long as it doesn't get in the way of a panthers SB I hope he does well. If his team plays on monday night football I might watch some.

I wish him the best. He's still one of my favorite players, and I hope he has an excellent season next year. I just hope if he plays us next year, it's one of his off games. Other than that, I hope he tears it up next year.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
