With Peppers and Jake out of the picture, who do you think will be your Carolina Panthers Captains??

I think matt will be a captain to further throw him into a very very important role for the panthers and id rather see Smith get the C on his chest than Gross.

Beason of course but the second defensive captain really has me stumped. Maybe Thomas Davis or Gamble?

and Kasey as special teams captain

Defense - Beason/Harris

Offense - Gross/Moore

I think the team shows it's confidence in Moore to be their leader and honor him as a captain, whether he deserves it or not. They need to show him that they support him and are behind him 100%.

RBs are rarely team captains..

This team always lets the players vote on captains, so it would be who they look to rather than what the coaches would prefer. I'd expect to see Beason for sure, probably Harris on D. Then something like Gross, Moore, and Smith on O. (If the players don't vote for QB1, that will be a pretty bad sign IMHO). And of course Kasay (assuming he returns) for ST.

      Just like WR, you thin ignite and then suffer an injury and you are scrambling.  Any RB could have run through some of those those holes though and maybe you don’t get the same xtra yards but you are getting yardage.  It is the pass catching they will miss the most.

      Without Sanders, they are stil catching balls. Sanders is about a giveaway to it will be a pass play.   Also, hoping we see the competition at RB keep both guys on their toes.

      I was talking about pre season hype vs now.  They were talking about him being the best route runner on the team and being unguardable.  Putting people in the blender.  He has had 1 catch the last two games, and before that it was 2 per game. I like Renfrow, but it seems him and Bryce are not on the same page.
