Will there be any competition for Moore?

Don't get me wrong, I like Matt but competition always makes players better...

Currently, only Cantwell is behind him and right now he is an unknown.

On top of that, I know Fox and Hurney made it clear that Moore was the starter but I do think they will bring in someone to compete...

Nope. The job is his for at least one season. We will have a #3 though, who could possibly pass Cantwell on the depth chart.

I think it's likely we go into the season with Moore, Cantwell and Mcown as our three backs.

with all the releases the panthers have made i have no idea what the team is going to do..which is a good thing since we've been so predictable..

I like the prospect of a young QB corp. I see nothing wrong with using a mid round on Zac Robinson, Sean Canfield, or John Skelton. I do not want to use a 2nd or 3rd on a QB. As a matter of fact i like inviting Riley Skinner as a project undrafted guy. If you insist on bringing a veteran in Charlie Batch or Jeff Garcia could work.

They released Delhomme specifically so he didn't have to look over his shoulder. Why would they then turn around and sign someone for competition?

I'm not a big fan of Josh McCown but I wouldn't mind us re-signing him because he's better than Cantwell. If we draft The Golden Calf of Bristol get ready to hear the word "blessed" about 29379721568465786378 times during training camp this summer.
