Jarrett still sticking with Panthers

Blaming Jarrett's crappiness on Jake. That's is a riot! Yeah, he sure did kick some ass with Matty as QB. He had what, 2000 yds and 54 TDs when Moore threw him the ball? What were we thinking letting Jarrett and Jake work together. Man!

There's some validity to it (the trust thing) but it's definitely not the whole story.

If he doesn't learn to up his effort it'll never happen.

I just don't get why he's one of the few players people keep giving a break to. We've had countless players who've given it a go and failed here, and the fans have turned on them quickly (hi, Carr!). But Jarrett? "Oh, he'll be good THIS year, just wait.". This is his FOURTH season in the NFL. And the mere fact that some of you think you know more than Fox ("if they'd only throw him the ball, he'd be great, etc), makes it all even worse. Jarrett is inactive a lot for a good reason. Crap, didn't Charlie Martin and Kenny Moore play more than him this year? And of course he can catch a ball, he's in the damn NFL. The sun even shined on Colbert's and Drew Carter's asses from time to time but they were given the boot eventually. We may as well keep him, due to the money factors, but it's time some of you just realize he's a bust. He broke records at USC...well so did Mike Williams and Colbert and where are they now?

He is a big guy and should start to dominate the WR position. He kind of reminds me of Calvin Johnson, but sure doesn't play like him.

Sometimes it takes a few years for a young WR to come out of his shell, and with the new WR coach, hopefully something different will happen next year. Wishful thinking I guess.

I like Jarrett and want him to stick around one final year to see how he does with actual playtime, however..

this thread should be renamed "Panthers still sticking with Jarrett."

if he was cut, I wouldn't be surprised at all. hell, he's lucky to have made it this far..
