Jake likely to end up in Denver

Honestly, I think Jake would beat out Orton in an open competition. It's likely that the deal would be contingent on him accepting the backup role.

Why do you think that? Orton has shown he can be a damn good game-manager. Jake, at least recently, has shown he can't do that -- even with the league's best tandem of running backs.

Not bashing Jake here, but I don't see how you could make the argument he would beat out Orton at this time.

They have a better WR corps and utilizes the WCO, which allows a QB to manage the game better instead of the run, run, bomb philosophy of Fox.

Fair enough. But all things being equal, I still think Orton is the better quarterback right now. I do wish Delhomme the best, and I'd love to see him tearing it up out there.
