And yeah it’s my opinion but it’s also one that is shared with local radio folks and national NHL XM hosts that I listen to. I had no issue with him until he became annoyingly positive during the playoffs a few years ago. Like let me feel what I want to feel after a bad game  Don’t tell me not to bring that in here. Venting after a bad game is what these forums are for. 
I will be positive when I feel I need to be positive and I will be negative when I feel like it is appropriate to be negative.

Long story short: Don’t tell me how to fan.

That is a major pet peeve of mine. There is a reason I have him ignored.

Honesty man, you and I aren’t too dissimilar. I used to preach all the time to not tell me how to be a fan. I can’t stand it actually. Be how you want to be. There isn’t one way to be fan is what I used to say on the main forum and to anyone that told me what you said. 
 

As far as the positivity thing, a few years back, I was battling a pretty nasty sickness that almost got me.   I won’t get into details. But, when I beat it, I was overtly positive about everything Including things that give me joy like the canes. ESP since they finally started playing well. Just to offer some perspective.   Not looking for a sympathy btw, being able to be here and make Gameday threads to talk about games is good enough for me and a privilege.  And if that brings us canes fans together, I’m all for it. 
 

I would also say, don’t write people off because you don’t know what they are going though. But I can certainly see your point of view and your why.  If you are willing to have a fun canes or god forbid panthers dialog I’m always open to it.  My Intention isn’t run anyone off, so if I did, it’s on me. Anyways, hope this clears up some stuff. 
 

Go canes, going to be an interesting week!

Did I just log on the Dr. Phil web page?? Just kidding, glad y'all talked it out - now on to the Canes, I think the revenge signing of KK is why we are in this mess now, major mistake by Donny. Let's hope he corrects this before the deadline.
