Not that this is inline with the topic but I was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point in 1996-98. Havelock High School won the Baseball title that year (98).

Both my parents were stationed at Cherry Point, usually the only reason anyone ever ends up in Havelock.

Went to school with a girl who ended up in Girls of the SEC edition in Playboy.

Played basketball with Dion Byrum who played for the Bears and Panthers at CB.

Also played with Kevin Martin in a pickup game at Western Carolina. He now plays in the NBA. Saw him jump over a dudes head and dunk- haha.

JT Thompson and Dorenzo Hudson who play basketball at VT lived in the same town I grew up. JT was kicked off the highschool basketball team but often played ball with them at the Rec center in Monroe.
