RE alex brown for SS chris harris

ROFL!!! Since '03...

Brayton has 15.5 sacks - 13 Pdefs - 1 int - 5 FF

Brown has 41 sacks - 33 Pdefs - 5 ints - 13 FF

Brown is more than twice the player!

Which of the two is expected to be benched, traded or released?

Quick Hint: A message board cannot be used to drum up trade interest.

Harris is an above average safety and I want the Panthers to draft T.J. Ward out of Oregon who is a carbon copy of Chris Harris. Ward to play in the Secondary from one of the best in Jairus Byrd.

To be clear, I'd actually be okay with getting Alex Brown if he were released.

I don't think the Panthers will pick him up though, regardless of status. He's too much like the kind of player they've been letting go this offseason.

And no, I wouldn't trade Chris Harris for him.

ya, just because Chris Harris doesn't play like Polamalu or Wilson he's below average... SMH

let's not forget he leads the league in the past few years in forced fumbles and is one of the best at run stopping, and was apart of a #4 ranked secondary last season.

This is ridiculous. We gave a 5th for Harris before he had really done anything. He comes here and plays extremely well and now you expect us to trade him for a guy you yourself admit is likely to be cut? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, thats funny.

How bout I give you Brayton for Tommie Harris? Thats the kind of stupidity we are talking about here.

Speaking of guys named Brown, it must really hurt to know you traded Harris away for a 5th round pick because Mike Brown was healthy and made Harris expendable... LOL

It's fun watching the Bears thrash in the offseason, make all these big signings and still not win their division.

Good luck with that whole Peppers thing, he's the Jay Cutler of DE's

with the way the Lions have been improving this off-season, I can seriously see Bears and Lions fighting for #3 in the division.

yea, i dont see the bears being able to outplay the packers or the vikes. I mean, they have jake delhomme version 2.0 at QB and who on defense other than Pepper? Urlacher gets injured every other play and is only a shell of his former self.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
