Also, I have a balance of 800 points, hovwever it is not enough for the map pack. Will it allow me to only purchase only the remaining points to download it (i.e. 700 points)?

I got 20,000 free points from M$ a while back and still have not spent it all.

So I've been to wal-mart 3 times today returning prepayed microsoft point cards, when I enter the redeem code... it says "retailer has not activated the card."

So i called up xbox and apparently their account verification server is completely down and will not be back up for about 3 more hours.

I was excited about this a little, now I am agitated a lot.

Awesome, 402 just reported they are putting the new maps in all playlists tomorrow and enabling double XP there. No more going through game types you don't care for to play the new maps.
