because I am eternally optimistic...my own version of the job you would hate thread has to be the job you would love.

so....reasonably speaking of course, if you could change jobs today...what would be your ultimate career choice?

seems that could be something you could do part time until you were established enough to do it fulltime. Why wouldn't you?

was originally in reply to Beaux's response...but same answer for Jase...

It certainly can -- I write a little right now as is. But of course, it's not a paying job for me. I wish it was my full-time job, so that I could focus exclusively on it and get paid accordingly. :D

GM of any sports team

Ditto....specifically a baseball GM for me.

My son is planning on going to school for Chemical Engineering but what he really wants to do is become a GM of a sports team (I had nothing to do with that, in fact he doesn't even know that is my dream job also).....the road to the top is a long and painful one but I am trying to nudge him towards following his dream instead of the comfortable path.

nice...that was my next comment...not enough people these days seem to make the sacrifices it takes to get what they want...we all seem to settle for what we have instead! Push him Johnny...push him hard!

    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so in the mind of a rational
    • Cam regularly threw for less than 200 yards and nobody questioned he was elite. He averaged 219 yds per game for his career.  You seem to be way too hung up on yards as a stat.  By that definition Jameis Winston should have been MVP by now.
    • So... what metrics for production do you believe display these issues/limitations best? Are we only using total passing yards, height, and weight thresholds? If so, then what are those thresholds?
