I would rather have a guy 9 inches taller that can jump 41.5 and has 31 inch arm length.

That guy is Scott Long out of Louisville. These undersized athletes like Holiday, Banks and McCluster are luxury picks.

I picked up Brandon Banks in Franchise mode on Madden and I must say he does quite well as a returner.

I was a HUGE Brandon Banks guy after watching him at TCU last year, and definitely wanted to bring him in after he went undrafted.

So, for those that didn't get to see last night, Banks returned a KO for touchdown for Washington. I like Holliday too, but I doubt they let him go.

A guy I think we should keep our eye on is Scotty McGee. I never heard of him until last night, but just watching him on tape, he looked faster than everyone else on the field. Not just faster, he made the rest of the players look like D-III scrubs... He's on the Jaguars and I watched part of their game vs/ the Eagles, this guy is fast as sh*t and he makes people miss - the best returner I've seen in pre-season in 2 years. Reminds me a lot of Smitty in the way he moves and separates... Check him out, I really hope the Jags cut him.

Can someone please tell me why we're trying to solve our return woes by throwing next year's 2nd rounders at projects when there were so many returners in this draft that guys like Banks go undrafted?

I'm with you. We desperately need a good punt/kick returner. If that means that's all they do, fine. We're clearly not going to find another Steve Smith -- someone who can contribute as a receiver and a returner at a high level.

Ask Armanti about Scotty McGee. The guy brought brought James Madison back from a 21-0 half time deficit two years ago to beat Appalachian with his kick returns. Everybody was afraid to kick to him in FCS because you knew he always had a good chance to return for TD. I hated him when he played for JMU and therfore would love to have him on the Panthers. :smilielol5:
