Yes, because Hubbard should walk after this year.  You shouldn’t extend and pay them.  Sanders should be gone too.

so Brooks would be a 2nd year RB then and ready to be the dude

It just seems like anyone we sign off the street is fine.  We have too many other needs even if you let both of those guys walk next year.

He’s had a good preseason and camp, so I was encouraged when Canales said they were going to look at his whole body of work including past years, because I don’t believe in him. I think he’s just turned it up with the shadow of being cut looming but once he makes an actual team we’ll still see the same lazy poo.

And on cue he doesn't make a play. Not a good throw, obviously.

Different scenarios. We would probably be seeing a lot of Dalton if the injuries weren't an issue. I doubt we would be seeing much of Plummer if Dalton wasn't banged up.

Yeah this is what Dalton is being paid for. A big part. you expect him to handle this part of things.
Plummer is getting such an education, and being paid.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
