I'm really not sure

Just opt out like Kennard and Sanders did if that's what you're gonna do.

Yeah, no issue with Sanders opting out.  Team at least knows going in.   Just dipping out because you no longer want to play sort of screws your teammates who cared to play/win.

and I wouldn’t want my coach making deals with players to sit halfway through.  Play or sit.  No half in bologna.

Yeah, with NIL money borderline NFL players are going to be better off sticking around in college. A late round pick QB is still a very talented college QB that's gonna get PAID in the portal.

Speaking of this, it's being reported that Ewers is already getting offers upwards of $6M if he hits the portal.

Well not singling any one team out. But given the collective noise made about the SEC being screwed and the travesty that was committed during the CFP selections….

Kirk Herbstreit and company sort of got left hanging out to dry with the SEC teams not coming in behind it to back up all that talk

And yeah, I get players sat that wouldn’t have…..but still for some to holler that loud it sort of needed the I told you so to come with it.

I still think that's why DJ U took that money to go to FSU.  Didn't matter if it wasn't a great situation for him.  He's got to make his money while he can.  Probably knows his pro career is a long shot as a backup.

As long as we get to draft the second tiny terror, Dillon Gabreal, I'm all for them going back. Makes CFB more interesting.

I’m already looking forward to next year.  Clemson essentially bringing thr entire band back.  Should be actually able to make a real run at something next year.  O will be ready.  Gamecocks finally up and really threatening.   Both QBs should be in early talks of at least being possible Heisman guys to watch.  State of South Carolina should have two key national contenders if all goes well next year.

Really hoping Belichick can go buy some 1 year rental at QB no one sees coming as well.  Maybe that Ewers talk is Bill searching for his  future marketing/recruiting example that will do the talking for him.   Take some meh draft QB and make him a first rounder year 1.

Next college season has me way more excited than NFL

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
