Good the poo stands...

NO ONE CAN "FIX" BRYCE he isn't an NFL QB.

Baker and Geno are NFL QBs bryce young is not.

Yes that is proven now, and Canales seems to not have any idea how to coach a whole football team. Theres a reason why he was never promoted in Seattle and that we were his only interview last year. Plus his book sucks!

With this defense no one is winning Jack poo. I like his schemes overall and I can forgive his play calling right now has just trying to make anything at all happen with what he's working with.

stop this dumb poo and let the man cook with an actual NFL caliber roster. Jesus effing christ

This roster is 2019-2020 Lions, decent OL and practice squad everywhere else. Stafford  could never overcome the roster deficiencies and he’s 20x the qb we could even dream of barring a draft miracle

Was it or was it not going to be a mandate that whoever the new coach was would be tasked with fixing bryce? Who could have actually done it?

A guy to fix Bryce didn't have to get the job under the condition that he gets to be head coach though. You could have hired the actual best head coach prospect available for the team as a whole, and let them know fixing Bryce was a priority. It would actually be easier for someone to focus on just Bryce without having the weight of dealing with managing the whole roster and calling plays on Sundays. I always said it was too much for one rookie coach to take on

His shtick doesnt work

Players like it in the summer and preseason because they don't have to work very much. Now he's hugging players after getting their ass whooped? I bet he writes a book about his coaching experience after he gets fired lol. Mega grifter

    • The year he had another edge rusher opposite him in Reddick, Reddick ended up having more sacks. Burns was good at rushing the passer here but he was taken out of plays far too often by a single TE or you'd never even known he was in the game at all.  The Rams offer was equivalent to prime Khalil Mack or a TJ Watt. Those guys single handedly took over games and stopped drives. I can't remember a game Burns ever did that. Do we wish we had the level of production hes giving right now? Of course. Do I think we'd have it here. No.  At the time, his production was on par with Reddick, not Parsons. Pay production and incentivise potential.
    • Technically our guys are in the top 6 in sacks for rookies and Scourton is tied for the lead.
    • That's why so many said he wasn't worth it here, there was only DB and it wasn't enough. If Burns is feasting then the other guys in NY are doing enough already, Burns is just collecting the stats. It's what he eas built for and is finally in his perfect space to succeed. Im not as in on the new guys yet. More is an understatement but the good news is that they are rookies.
