Would you trade Williams for Big Ben?

Also, think of how much better Ben would be behind our offensive line, and with our running backs (well, minus Williams assuming we traded him).

We would have the potential to be an offensive powerhouse.

i think so. you need another receiver though

I agree. But at the same time, who's to say he can't make some of our younger guys look good (Moore, Jarrett, Barnidge, etc.)?

For the record, I think Moore will work out pretty well for us and can do the same. I'm just saying, if you've got a shot at a franchise quarterback like Ben, you take it.

I believe we are a WR away from being that offensive powerhouse. Big Ben isn't the missing link for this team.

I believe Moore will be a good QB. Good QBs will suffice in this league with good players at every other position. We need to address those needs first.

Heard this before about the possibility of getting B. Marsh. Not every big name player will make us an offensive powerhouse. We have Moore and we don't need a rapist on the team, this is similar to the trade rumors for vick. So why want a rapist who has proven himself over a dog killer who has proveb himself?

He is a franchise QB.

Yes one from the draft would be way cheaper, but it would have to be a high first so something would have to go to get it. On second thought Ben would be alright here...he is not as old as I thought but Moore is much cheaper.

You mean like Alex Smith? Matt Leinart?

There are no guarantees in the draft.

Might have something to do with Ben not being proven guilty in a court of law.

How many "good" quarterbacks have won Super Bowls in recent years? Hell, most of the teams that have even gone have been led by elite quarterbacks.

Yes, it's a team sport, but the quarterback is the most important position in the game today. If you have a shot at a young quarterback who already has won two Super Bowls, I think you take it and hope he keeps himself out of trouble.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
