It was literally the only bad game he's had all season.

He got $44 million at signing and is due another 56 million.

If we're ready to send QB's out of town on a rail with a kick in the ass then we can say that Robert Hunt needs to not have a bad game against the only defense in the league that is comparatively as bad as ours. I think that's reasonable.

Coker, Legette, Sanders, and Brooks are going to be a lot of fun to watch the next couple of years and I hope they continue to develop.  Just need to find a QB to get the ball to them.

Hopefully they keep developing and we need to keep hitting on our draft picks.

Pff be damned, it passes the eye test with the DL. Dear god we need to spend an entire draft on DE and DT. Honestly, I think our defense would be below average to average if we had a Brown healthy + another starting DE.

I was thinking that I’ve warmed a little on Mykel Williams. Feel like having him + Brown back could suddenly make our defense look a little different

Bad teams are generally thin at most positions and it takes time to build the reserves.  I think Morgan put a lot of stock in Wonnum producing and this has been a big disappointment.  Brown and Shaq's injuries were significant and despite what us fans say, the defense is much better with Shaq on the field.

Speaking of Shaq, I was watching some video of him from 2022 and he looked good. So much better than what we have on the field now. I do think he has maybe lost a step, half step, but it was a big loss.

You can dog any player but when you get to Bryce, it is hating. Hunt deserves poo for that, he should be embarrassed and I bet he is. Hopefully that woke him up, opened those eyes.

    • That's mostly me. I came into the season basically believing he was not ever going to be the guy but with a little bit of wait and see. It didn't take long of me seeing before I saw he was the same guy he has largely always been. Maybe in some future scenario 3-5 years from now he is confident enough to be a decent NFL QB. I don't really want to be the team waiting for that to happen. Let his 3rd, 4th, 5th or whatever team be the ones that figure it out.
    • Naw let him get to Tampa and crack his old fragile body with Radsom or Trey M I’d love to see him get rocked by this raw defense. He’s a fool thinking he would leave us for greener pastures I’m glad it played out this way should’ve stayed loyal to the ones who really wanted you.
    • And a legitimate question to ask is what does this offense look like once Bryce is off his rookie contract? How is that offensive line going to look? We have a ton of money invested up front and that is 100% unsustainable with Bryce making starting QB money. Icky and Moton are going to be 50m per season plus the guards at 32 and possibly Mays at 6-8 if we're lucky. Add in Bryce and that's 125m just on those 6 players if we tried to keep them all. It's just not doable.  So then the real question IMO becomes, if we spent the money on our OL, and less on a QB, would the outcome be that much different? I haven't seen Bryce elevate the offense enough by himself on a consistent basis to warrant the contract we would have to give him, not to mention the players we would have to give up, based on the accelerations of the bonuses as I understand them, would likely include Icky.
