The funny thing about life is that 2 years ago, if someone would have came up to me, talking about the damn army I would have laughed. I only signed up for JROTC for the easy credit (turns up to be a harder class that I thought). Idk. I guess the idea of 'free' education at a college is too much for me to pass up. I'm not thrilled about all the training and whatnot, but hey..what can you do? Everyone in my family keeps telling me I might die or what ever, but considering I'm from Birmingham Alabama, that doesn't really bother me. Then again, I'll probably get the fear of god in me if I'm ever deployed to a war zone( hopefully the Wars in the Middle East are over by that time). But knowing my luck, WW3 will start the day I turn 18.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
