He was 2nd behind Gronk by a distance of here to the moon.

Those stats are damn good for a TE.

I guess you think Olsen was a bum as well. Smh all you dudes do is hate on this board. Why can't anyone be positive. This place fuels off hate.

I can't wake up everyday and hate. My life is too damn good to think like this. I hope some of you find happiness in your life. It's honestly sad how some of you think on a daily basis.

I will let you continue with the Bryce hate in this thread. I'm burned out defending this kid.

You telling me a straight face Bryce has shown no improvement and is the same QB he was earlier in the season?

The Nat'l media was literally praising this dude for improved play. Some even said we have found our franchise QB.

What the hell changed so fast? Oh he had a off game. So it's back to Bryce sucks. Damn I love this place.

Its all about context.  He went from being the absolute worst qb in probably the history of the nfl to being the worst qb in the current nfl.  I mean sure thats improvement by the nature of the word but you are only kidding yourself if you think thats good enough to be a franchise guy.   But being who you are I am guessing that is going to sail right over your head.  And if I recall correctly you were one of the guys saying he was playing like a top 5 nfl qb.  So yeah theres that.

Ive said it 1000x on here.  He is too small to see the field as evidenced last week, his footwork is fuging horrendous as evidenced last week and his arm and accuracy is dogshit as evidenced last week. This wasnt a one off game.  This is who he is

I didnt realize Tony Robbins was a panther fan

Being optimistic doesnt change the realistic part here.  Bryce fuging stinks

Trying to tell other people how to live when you don't even have the testicular fortitude not to shamelessly bandwagon. That's cute bro.

Olsen is a damn good TE. He hit the lottery too with Cam. I think what Olsen accomplished is very admirable considering he had average wheels at best. He is a very sharp guy and his football IQ his attention to detail and work ethic got him the accolades he has now. Good for him. I'll always speak highly of him. Doesn't matter how he compares to GOAT's at his position.

The worst starting QB in the NFL doesn't take the defending champs and the best QB in football down to a GW FG to win the game. Chiefs has loss 1 game all season.

Eagles again the worst starting QB doesn't take a SB caliber team down to a GW TD. Had XL caught the ball we beat the best team in the NFC.

Instead of praising him you continue to ignore the good he has shown since the benching. Look at this roster dude we shouldn't be competitive if we being honest.

Starting is about consistency. Within a game, and between them. And Bryce has seriously lacked it. Bryce has had a few good games. So did his receivers, frankly. So did his OL.

Where would you rank Bryce right now out of 32 starters?

I have him at 22. For a #1 pick obviously he's not living up to that spot. But given his roster and lack of weapons this is a decent spot. Put more talent around him he could be in the 15-20 range. Middle of the pack with a good roster around him.

15 with the absolute best case scenario roster around him.  Hard fuging pass.

    • I think you know. Apparently winning is secondary to Bryce’s development. Same as it has been.     In a way it may be good because we didn’t need to make the playoffs and extend this fuging charade about Bryce being the guy. Better in the long run if he gets enough rope to hang himself with.
    • Dave Canales is not the problem. He just isn't
    • I know DC is overthinking this and he really needs to be OC or HC, but how do you call plays with a QB that in all reality, shouldn't be starting. Bryce is wildly inconsistent. He should lean on Rico and the run game, but if he does and wins, it presents a false narrative that Bryce is better than he is and he's potentially stuck with him for another season. If he doesn't, he looks incompetent as a play caller, but it exposes the ugly side of his QB situation that he really does need a QB that can execute at minimum a basic NFL offense with some decent consistency.  I feel a little sorry for the guy because he was anchored with Young this season and even more weight with Dalton getting a 2 year deal. He has very little to work with at the most important position on his team and it's not his doing. The trade deadline was approaching and it was plainly obvious we needed to do something but we didn't for whatever reason.  I don't think he's a complete bonehead and don't know what he's supposed to do. Win games and potentially keep Bryce or lose them by putting the weight on Bryce's shoulders. Either he succeeds or fails.  As a coach I know you're supposed to play to win the game, but do you win now at the ultimate long term detriment to your team and locker room?
