CJ Stroud v Bryce total TDs year 2

Recommended Posts

CJ - 20 total TDs in 17 starts (All Passing)

Bryce - 21 Total TDs in 12 Starts (15 passing, 6 Rushing)

It's a tale of two halves of the season. Props to Canales and Bryce for turning everything around after the benching. Still a work in progress, but I thought people should see just how hard CJ Fell off the second half of the year compared to how much better Bryce was playing to end things.

Great way to end the season, playing hard and competitively second half of the year after taking the learning lumps first half. Really looking forward to see more progress next season, from everyone across the team.

Strouds season isnt done he is in the playoffs for 2nd year in a row.  Young had his best game but at this moment in time stroud still leading overall.

Telling stat even with Stroud going to the playoffs again.

The Texans are in a bit of a spot right now and Bryce’s play truly looks better at the moment. Stroud’s had to carry that offense and Slowik has been questionable, but still, he hasn’t been what we saw in 2023. Accuracy has gone down a notch under pressure. He’s faced crowded pockets galore.

Bryce showed a lot of promise down the stretch and we weren’t far from being 7-10/8-9 with those KC, TB and PHI games.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
