We won't do it b/c the team knows there is a decent chance we won't be very good, which means you are trading a valuable first round pick. Not worth it.

I don’t think there is much chance of them moving into the first for the reason others have given you. I do think that they will try to trade next year’s first for a second and another pick it they can.

Slim to none, there will be lots of value in the 2nd round this year so I think it's much more likely to see the Panthers trade up higher into the

2nd round like they did for Brown last year.

Trading for a higher 2nd round pick will be MUCH cheaper than trying to trade into the first round and the pound-for-pound value of a late 1st round pick isn't much higher than the pound-for-pound value of an early 2nd round pick.

I could see us trading up in the second. Especially if someone like Tate starts to slip towards us. As far as going back into the first? Hurney said to never say never in the draft but I just dont think its likely.

I'd like to see us trade next year's first for a 2nd and a 4th this year. The more picks in this deep draft, the better.

That said, if we move up if will probably be for Golden Tate, not Dez Bryant.
