We need to protest this poo lol, I really think our front office is making irrational decisions this year and this lame ass pick shows that. Moore is ten times better then Clausen will ever be. And to top it off we tried to trade up to 33 to take him??? that alone says we have out heads in r asses and this poo has got to stop, thank god the rams didnt do it cuz I woulda been even more mad had then let us do something so stupid. JR needs to reach out and clean house and get us a new gm and coach cuz this has now gone too far

As much as I HATE the clausen pick, I understand why they did it. I hate Jimmy Clausen, I fuging hate him, but when that squishy faced ugly little ***** mother fuger was still there when the panthers were picking, I knew they were going to take him. great value pick, even though he's the next fuging ryan leaf, the little *****.

I am actually OK with the Brandon Lafell pick, I wanted him very much so at one time a few months ago, but fell out of love with him as the draft drew nearer, and fell in love with taylor price.

Which brings me to my next point:

why the fug did they take armanti edwards in the 3rd fuging round, and trade away our 2nd rounder next year to do it?!?!?! i'm fuging sorry, this is ridiculous. I wanted edwards, I wanted him a lot... In the 4th or 6th round maybe... I wanted Price god dammit!!! then the very next pick... the VERY NEXT PICK, the patriots fuging take him.... FUCK!!!!

mark my words, Taylor price is going to be a Pro bowler within the next couple years. I promise you. hurney is a fuging idiot.

      I have considered free agency.  LT?  Either not good enough or too expensive.  Besides, this is a good OT draft.  (I would rather have a free agent, mind you, but the Panthers' reality suggests we can't do it without neglecting other positions).  What LTs are available in free agency, and what do you expect to pay?  Any Ickey-level OT is going to cost over $20m.   How much do we already have invested in our OL?  I get your point, but I do not think you can spend over $100m per on your OL. We have 2 guards and a right T who pull in about $75m per season.  We don't have a center yet.  Teams just don't let good LTs hit free agency, and when one does on rare occasion, he is expensive.  If you want a third of the Panther cap going to 5 Offensive Linemen, free agency is the way to go.  We still need S, ILB, Edge, WR, etc. I think we'd need more than Nijman--and I would understand if we went free agent for a T--but that is putting a TON of your cap at OL--so considering our situation, I do not see that option as preferable.  You may disagree. If I was not talking LT on our line and thinking about the cap, I would agree 100%.

      Will be interesting to see how they come out tonight. The Boston game seemed to open the flood gates of media attention. And it’s not just that they’re playing well, in some instances they are getting compared with all time greats. This is still a young team, and it would be easy for an immature team to lose some focus, buy into their own hype, and think they can coast bit. The Heat are a middle of the road team without their leading scorer. There is no big dragon to slay, no big statement to make. I think we’ll learn a lot tonight: are they young but mature, or do they still have a ways to go mentally?

      Panthers North for the win. Good luck to him. Great guy, hated to see him leave here, but he's about to work with the best QB he's ever worked with (at least on a regular basis).
