Would you support a QB who is a homosexual?

Thats the same attitude that kept Warren Moon out of the league.

I thought warren moon was not kept out of the league. He quit because he sucked. Difference in sucking and being *****. I can see how you may be confussed though.

lol Surprise...one of the Huddle Racist/Bigots finds his way into this thread. We aren't talking about when he quit, Klansmen for brains, but why he was not allowed to play in the first place.

Many pundits believe that it was because Moon was black and refused to switch positions — Moon has stated in interviews that before the draft some scouts advised him to switch to tight end

Moon recalls the racism and death threats he faced early in his N.F.L. career, and discusses the lingering challenges faced by African-American quarterbacks today.

My favorite team played the first black quarterback, and he came this close to taking us to the Super Bowl. James Harris, 1974.

I understand what you're saying, but I think there is a difference between race and sexuality. I mean, they don't have gay leagues, now do they? It's just a different dynamic.

Just softball.

When did Moon try to come into the game? Like I said, James Harris started for the Rams in the 1974 NFC Championship game. I was too young to know any better, but I don't remember him being controversial. Maybe he was, or maybe they used his "failure" in that game as an excuse against Moon?

I'll say this...after Doug Williams' performance in the 1979 NFC Championship against the Rams, I'm surprised Randall Cunningham got his chance. I recently watched that game and it was the worst QB performance I've ever seen.
