Since I got a job at 16, I haven't had to ask my parents for a single cent. I'm glad I wasn't one of those kids whose parents spoiled me. Granted, they didn't have the money anyway, but I think it worked out for the better.

shut up and get a job. kids today...so pampered, given anything they want. Back when I was growing up we had this thing called, allowances, meaning we had to do chores around in/out of the house. In even then it was like only 2 dollars a week.
