How many times can you run "Don't tell Mom the babysitter's dead" and "Xmen:Origins"

They don't even have good soft porn anymore.

It does suck. It's only good for the shows. They stagger the shows between summer and winter so once you get hooked it's hard to cancel. Im also having this same problem with Showtime. Once Netflix streaming gets better i will cancel it all.

Yea, On Demand is where it's at. They usually have a great selection of movies, and you can watch them anytime.

Their original programming is still pretty good. Still great documentaries (although not that frequent).

The Pacific was great.

Entourage is still funny but it's just getting a little old.

I'm not a True Blood fan. Tried the first season and just couldn't get into it.

I think I'm the only person in the world that likes Big Love.

And regardless of your political lean, Bill Maher puts together a good show.

I'm definitely looking forward to Boardwalk Empire later this year - Buscemi and Scorcese.

Showtime definitely has HBO beat on original programming though. Not saying there's not anything good on HBO. But it's been a long fall for a network that's had so many great shows.

I love Big Love Actually..good show...I dont have HBO tho, havent for a while...just wait for the series to come out on DVD.

Yikes, I have Directv which means no on demand.

We have HBO and SHO for True Blood, Entourage, Weeds, and Californication. Wife loves dexter.

But sometimes i scroll through a week's worth of movies and can't find a single damn one to watch

I dumped HBO after The Sopranos went off. Had HBO since it first came on cable, so over 30 years. But when they keep playing the same crap over and over, like "Don't tell mom..." It just wasn't enough to keep it, when I can just get what ever show through netflix. And now I am actually seeing movies that never show up on HBO and movies I want to see. Plus getting rid of Carnival and Deadwood didn't help them. I am watching season two of True Blood now and when The Pacific comes out I'll get that.

Starz is overtaking it as far as original series in my opinion.

the only thing i watch on HBO is True Blood, and it's ridiculous to spend money to watch 1 show. so i download it.

Im hating for Hard Knocks to start. hopefully we can cancel it after the season is over and then get showtime for Inside the NFL. (and the channels bc its def better)

I cancelled HBO when The Sopranos ended. Right now I just have Starz and Showtime. Starz has more channels and a wider selection of movies.
