I don't think the schedule is as easy as it looks .

I remember when the schedule came out it looked pretty easy. Now they always rank the schedule based on last year's records which is kind of bogus.

Week 1 Giants - we embarrassed them, to blow them out in the last game of their old stadium and then beat them in the first game of their new one is a real kick in the balls. They have this one marked. We don't really have a history of starting sharp either.

Week 2 Bucs - They were a pretty bad team but they could jump to mediocre or better this year. Freeman looks pretty good, he showed some potential. I like their strategy of attacking their weaknesses. It could pay off.

Week 3 Bengals - They were playoff team last year in a very difficult division. I don't think they've gotten much worse.

Week 4 Saints - We historically do well against them but their the Superbowl champs this time. Hopefully they go back to being the same ol' Saints. By week 4 they may be ready to right the ship if they come out flat.

Week 5 Chicago Bears - People like to doubt the teams that spend big in FA, but the truth is they acquired some pretty talented guys even if they did over pay for some of them. Mike Martz is a big addition.

Week 6 BYE - I like having the latest BYE possible. But this is an ok week. I don't like early BYE's for any team. I hate taking breaks early at work, same kind of logic. If I'm being productive I don't want to interrupt it. I get kind of sluggish after my break, and so do John Fox's Panthers.

Week 7 San Francisco 49ers - They gave Frank Gore some great O-lineman up front. I have no idea who their QB will be but if they can run the ball and play defense that's a dangerous team. Most people already have them penciled in as the NFC West winner.

Week 8 St. Louis Rams - I can't really see how we will lose this one. The Rams are the worst team and will be one of the worst teams I've ever seen. 6 wins over 3 years. They have got to quit sucking eventually but it's not going to happen overnight.

Week 9 Saints - Same scenario as week 4, even if they are mediocre this season they still will be very dangerous.

Week 10 Bucs - They could be starting to get it together by now. Still will probably be a win but this has upset potential.

Week 11 Ravens - Long story short the Ravens kick ass.

Week 12 Cleveland Browns - I don't see the Browns doing very well this season. Hopefully Jake keeps on throwing pooty passes.

Week 13 Seattle Seahawks - They had a good off season but college coaches have iffy success coming into the NFL lately. Probably a win.

Week 14 Falcons - They're a good team, they've beaten us handily in the past with no excuses. That trend isn't going to stop, tough game.

Week 15 Arizona Cardinals - Without Warner I don't see them continuing their success. They are taking steps to have a running game but they still

are a passing team and Warner was a huge part of that.

Week 16 Pittsburgh Steelers - We get to play the Steelers during the time they usually get hot, Yay. Hopefully there is a Big Ben meltdown.

Week 17 Atlanta Falcons - Will be interesting games, we both could be fighting for a wildcard, the division, homefield, or to see who gets to draft #2 in 2011, who knows what will happen by this time. Will be a tough game no matter what.

I only see about 5 games on here I can have full confidence in. The Bucs, Rams, Browns, and Sehawks really skew our difficulty. They rest of the teams we play know how to win and win well.

This is good though as it will keep us playing hard and stay motivated to help us win the Superbowl.

split with the saints and falcons. sweep the bucs. 4-2 in the division.

no worse than 2-2 against the NFCW. i can see 3-1 against them.

i can see 2-2 against the AFCN.

we will win at least one between the bears and the giants. both are incredibly doable based on recent history.

9 or 10 wins isn't all that out of the picture. very achievable, imo.

Hey look, I can spin things in a positive way just like you spun everything in a negative way.

Week 1 Giants - Completely destroyed them last season. Embarrassed them in their last game at their home stadium. They're terrified of us.

Week 2 Bucs - One of the worst teams in the league last year. They had a good draft but it won't be enough for this season. They'll be good again in a couple years.

Week 3 Bengals - Good team but they won't have an answer for our running game.

Week 4 Saints - Doesn't matter that they won the Super Bowl, we always give them a run for their money. With a decent QB throwing the ball, Smitty will tear the Saints apart just like he always does.

Week 5 Chicago Bears - Jordan Gross will make Peppers his bitch if King doesn't do it first. Cutler throws picks like I scratch my balls...often.

Week 6 BYE - Good time to rest up and prepare for our run to the play-offs.

Week 7 San Francisco 49ers - Good running game but they will be very one-dimensional on offense. By this time Leonard will probably have established himself as a stud at DT and will stuff Gore repeatedly.

Week 8 St. Louis Rams - Independence High School could beat the Rams.

Week 9 Saints - See week 4. Jonathan Vilma receives a concussion from being stiff-armed with violent force to the turf, courtesy of Jonathan Stewart.

Week 10 Bucs - Firmly at the bottom of the NFC South, the Bucs pose no threat.

Week 11 Ravens - Good team but Flacco is overrated. Two great running teams will make for a gritty ground battle, but Double Trouble is too much.

Week 12 Cleveland Browns - The Browns are pathetic. Jake will probably have a great game against us, but it won't be enough to win.

Week 13 Seattle Seahawks - Seahawks are not good on offense or defense. This is a win by 35 points.

Week 14 Falcons - Solid team, but Matt Ryan is not the QB everyone thought he would be. Turner will probably be injured or getting 2.5 ypc at this point in the season.

Week 15 Arizona Cardinals - Questions at QB and still a pretty bad running team. Easy W.

Week 16 Pittsburgh Steelers - Steelers are a good team but their defense is showing signs of aging. At this point we will have a solidly established Top 5 defense and they won't be able to move the rock on us. +4 turnover margin.

Week 17 Atlanta Falcons - Falcons lose this game and consequently miss out on a wildcard spot in favor of the Saints.

yeah if we win less than half of the tough games that puts us at 10-6. Which is a realistic winning record. Things will have to go really well for us to get to around 13-3.

Yeah I'm a real downer predicting we're going to have a tough road to the superbowl.

If you're going to be sarcastic at least try to be funny, clever, or read the entire post first.

You just listed every game on our schedule and wrote a pessimistic comment about how we're probably going to lose.

Either you can't read or you're just deliberately ignoring stuff I say so you can be a dick. If your going to crack jokes at least be funny or have some sort of intelligent criticism in it somewhere. I welcome that. Most posters can accomplish this easily.

What you are saying is just negative and has no value; also known as being an asshole.

Ok, let me amend my comment. You took every game on the schedule EXCEPT five (less than a third of our games) and wrote a pessimistic comment about how we're probably going to lose.

Also,

What you are saying is just negative and has no value

you just described your thread.

    • LOL! We have ourselves a funny one over here.
    • That’s why I love Jake and always will.  He was so fuging gritty and definitely was a gunslinger.  Like a not-quite-poor-man’s Brett Favre.  Like an economy version lol.  He was damn good.  Yeah, he’d throw a pick here or there, but more often than not, I trusted Jake.  He’d make some throws that really made you think, “damn, he’s even better than I thought.”  I loved that he loved to gamble, but more importantly, he gave his guys a fuging chance to make a play.  When people have been criticizing Tet for drops, it pisses me off, because they say it like these are some gimmes that he’s dropping.  but, at about 6’5”, if your whole body is moving one way and you have to stop or slow down to come back to a ball thrown behind you, or low, that poo is not easy.  Bryce isn’t really giving him a chance, and I can see why he’s dropping them.  Versus if you look at this highlight reel of Moose: at about halfway through is when Jake stepped in.  The passes he was throwing are CRAZY.  There’s multiple passes in there where he is throwing across his body while running the opposite way - and he still had the strength to get it on target.  Then there’s the throws where he lasers it in a spot only the receiver could get it - seam routes, out routes, over the top. The longer you watch, the more obvious it is that so many of these (what should be basic) throws are completely absent from our offense with Bryce.  There was a play today where he started to scramble, kept looking, looking, looking, then just threw it into the ground near the receiver.  Let them make a fuging play.  His best pass of the day?  The long one to Tet?  If you re-watch it. About 10-15 yards further downfield, XL smoked his man on a post route.  You get maybe 3 chances at that a game usually, and when you don’t even attempt it when it’s there?  That poo is so demoralizing.  I can’t wait for Bryce’s time here to be fuging over.  If they cut him tomorrow I would feel free.  I would feel like I just won the fuging powerball.  If they signed Heineke, Perkins, White, PJ Walker, or Hooker to start the rest of the year, I would be fuging ecstatic like we just trotted Cam out for the first time.  That how fuging life-sucking Bryce is as the QB.
    • Aren't they about the same size too? Why TF are teams all of sudden drafting these small ass QBs that have an EXTREMELY low hit rate at an already extremely low hit rate position?
