Just kidding, a serious prediction could be anywhere from 5-11 to 11-5 honestly. The preseason will give me a bit of a better base for which it is more likely to be.

No d line catches up to them. With a lack of leadership due to so many vets moving on, that also catches up.

3-5 wins is all I see.

The best case scenario for the Panthers is winning those first two games. We have seen in the past when they start off like that, good things seem to happen.

A very strong 10-6. A 10-6 team that would whoop the 08 Cats. It will come down to Leonard and Tank staying healthy. Our offense is going to make the defenses job alot easier this year but we need those guys to be big on run support. I'm still hoping that pick up another DT before the season starts.

Some of these predictions are absurdly pessimistic. Fox has never lost 10 games in a season and he sure as hell won't lose 10 this year. Our running game, with our schedule considered, will win us 6 games alone. If Moore plays anywhere close to the level that he did last season, we can get realistically get to 10 wins. Our back 7 on defense is rock solid, and we have the added benefit of not having to gel in a new defense this season; everyone is familiar with it and we should hit the ground running. The D-line is the big question, but our offense could be top 10 with solid QB play.

After the way the Panthers finished the '09 season, I thought they would be a little better than average but not worse than terrible. It looks like some other teams predicted to do well have crapped out also.
