4yr old girl in Johnston county tortured and in critical condition

True unless the other prisoners take him out. From what I know people who hurt children usually are big targets in prison.

Oh, they do. They may all be felons, but even criminals have a sense of what's right and wrong. And anybody that messes with a kid is fair game behind bars.

And we'll have to keep this prick alive in prison for 70 years.

If the girl survives. If not, then its probably the death penalty for him.

Have to wonder what the mother was thinking when she left the child with him. I mean, it would be one thing if he had no record, but he had already been convicted of domestic abuse. If I am going to leave my child with someone, I would damn sure know a little bit about them. Plenty of Internet ways to find out someone's criminal background.

Yep, they are at the bottom of the proverbial food chain in prison. But not before a prisoner nicknamed "Bubba" makes him his B**** for a few weeks. I would dare say that Jonathan Douglas Richardson, will get to experience first hand what he put that little girl through!

What about the Mom? WTF was she doing leaving her little girl with someone that had a history assaulting a female? She needs to take some of the blame! Why join the military if you have no where to leave your child? That was just asinine to me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one questioning the mother's thinking. The BARN didn't even have running water or a toilet. They were sleeping on an air mattress. Did she not have anyone else to leave her child with? I'm all for bettering her life, but damn. No relatives anywhere? No female friends?

And his parents didn't have a clue? WTF? You know the little girl had to go to the bathroom somewhere. They had to know the child was back there with them.

I have had similar thoughts. However, then I have blood on my hands. So, mutual ground. Next to kin of victim meets with one of the prison's worst murderers who wouldn't mind getting another. Might even be therapeutic considering most are held in solitary confinement and they'll be there till they die anyway. I digress. At this "interview" if you will, you tell them exactly how you want it to be done. Basically hiring a hitman for somebody who will face the death penalty anyway. Anybody who doesn't face the death penalty, for something this serious, will be beaten and raped for years anyway. Its a win-win.

    • I feel like this trade just lives rent free in people's heads and keeps morphing into different things. First thing is that the rumored trade was for future firsts. They wouldn't have any extra picks in 2023; the firsts would have been for 2024 and 2025. With very few exceptions, NFL GMs don't value picks that far away. You have to have a lot of job security to pull that off. Like Chiefs, Eagles, Rams kinda stability. That's obviously not the case with David Tepper, especially since he'd just fired his head coach. No GM except for like Howie Roseman is going to trade an asset you have now for a future asset you probably get to use.  Second, at the time you'd have to assume these are first rounders late in the first round. Obviously currency is currency and the panthers need young players, but these weren't slam dunk top ten picks. At the end of the day there's one pick that separates a first and second round pick.  Lastly, the only place that ever reported this trade was the Rams. All the reporters just repeated what McVay said and it became gospel. We have no idea how serious the negotiations were, if they ever really happened, if the offer was real, etc. And I personally believe McVay and Sneed are the kind of guys who would make up rumors like that to fug up other teams, mostly because I assume if I've thought of it someone smarter than me has.  I don't know how you'd call it the greatest draft haul of all time. Firsts quickly lose their value the farther out they are and Burns had 16.5 sacks last season. And anyway those picks would probably just been tossed into the burning inferno of the Bryce trade up so it's a moot point anyway.
