J-Stew back to 100% (That's Scary)

Recommended Posts

Scary for opposing teams, it's amazing that a guy can put up those kinda numbers at 85%, but now that he is at 100% defenses better take notice.

NFL.com's Mike Lombardi reports that Jonathan Stewart (Achilles surgery) is back to 100 percent.

As the Panthers planned, Stewart sat out all of OTAs while nursing the heel injury he's played through for the past two years, not including his final season at Oregon. Still among the league's most dangerous backs, Stewart averaged 5.1 yards per carry in 2009 and has scored 21 all-purpose TDs since '08. It's scary to think how good he'll be with the foot problems behind him.

I just hope our running game gets off to a better start than it has the last couple of years. If memory serves, we struggled at running the ball in the first 4-5 games the last two years, then caught fire. Would be nice to get off to a better start this year.

the o-line has been responsible for the slow starts.

if they can avoid the early season injuries and bang-ups, settle down and gel, the run game will reach full potential much sooner.

one thing's for sure. stewart will take advantage of being 100%. he's going to play all out, and enjoy every minute of it.

I really think people are gonna be supprised at our offense this season. The best thing a young QB can have is a good RB and Moore has two of them. I really think our D will be behind our O to start with.

people really shouldn't be surprised if we are great offensively. We were one of the most dangerous teams in 08 offensively and only Jake prevented it in 09.

I think our D will be behind the O all season

Most reporters think we have no QB or any good WRs. The D very well might be behind because there is a lot more talent on the other side of the ball. I just hope meeks is a good coach and can make them a decent unit.

You guys shouldn't worry about the Panthers one bit on any side of the ball, including STs. Really, just don't even worry. Everyone on the Offense is healthy and the only ? is which one of our young WRs is gonna light up the stage, cause one of them is gonna have a really good year. On the Defense, I doubt it will be as productive as last year, but it will still be in the top 5 in Pass Defense, not to mention that despite reports to the contrary, the LBs will be just as beastly as last year, if not more now that a worth-a-poo LB is playing the Strong Side. The D-Line will not be as good as last year at pass rushing. To think otherwise is simply ignorant. However, it will not be as dismal as all of the analysts are saying. The Defense will be good, as usual. STs will be really good compared to last year. Expect good returns and good kicks, not to mention MUCH better coverage and blocking.

I'm expecting 10 wins and a wild card out of the Panthers this year.
