Tattoorhinos thoughts about today and some pics

Munnerlyn did well last year at returns, I thought, especially that one 50+ yard return. He had one fumble I think? So has everyone else the last 5 years that's played PR for us. Unless we can find someone that doesn't fumble it, he might be best right now.

Perhaps he has improved? Its only day 1, lets give it a few weeks.

How did my man Armanti look at the WR position, if he played there at all? I know he struggled catching punts but I want a threat at receiver more than a return man at this point.

It's funny how you don't remember stuff until someone asks you a question... I did see Armanti run a really nice post route during 7 on 7, nice clean break on the route that created enough separation between him and the DB for him to get the ball. Can't remember who was covering him.

Surprised McClain wasn't in the group with Edwards, Munnerlyn, and Witherspoon. Munnerlyn shouldn't even be considered to return punts again.

ahh cmon cap wasnt really that bad .. especially for a rookie .. there were a few times with one more block he would've taken it all the way .. he also dropped just as many as our other people we tried.

I held my breath every time Capt was fielding punts. I found myself just hoping that he would not make a mistake and fumble the ball.

The other thing I'll say about camp is that they've done a much nicer job with "presentation" this year. The practice fields are ringed by banners on the fences with the official "back to football" Panthers logo and they were handing out programs and roster sheets with a camp schedule on the back to each fan when they walked through the gate.

Also saw DeAngelo Williams toss a football to a kid standing near the fence... made his day. We've got some exceptionally fan-friendly stars on this team.
