I wonder why it took so long?

Why show your cards if you don’t need to. Never know if a dumb team will throw you a 7th, I’m fine with this we obviously knew he wasn’t in plan keep it close and make your move before the annual bonus pays out

Can confirmed Texans signed LG Laken Tomlinson. Laken Tomlinson is as durable as they come. He’s played seven seasons in a row without missing a game. He’ll be competing for the starter role He allowed the sixth highest pressure rate among left guards (9.1%) with at least 300 pass blocking snaps and 11 sacks according to Next Gen Stats.

Reports are that Sanders was willing to take a pay cut and was negotiating with the team but they couldn't come to an agreement. Team ultimately decided to part ways.

I mean, this could be one of the best RB classes in the past 20 years in terms of depth. I don't know what leverage he thought he had.

Also he was plain terrible here, even when we had a very good offensive line last year, ive never seen a RB miss the huge gaping holes that dude did

Browns eyeing Kirk Cousins?

The Browns made a trade for Kenny Pickett on Monday, but it's unlikely that Pickett will be the Week 1 starter. That means the Browns could still add another quarterback. Zac Jackson of The Athletic thinks the Browns will make a play for Kirk Cousins if the Falcons decide to release the QB.

Cousins has a $10 million roster bonus coming to him on March 16, so the Falcons will almost certainly want to make a decision on his future before then. We took a full look at the Cousins to the Browns situation and you can check that out here

sure but everyone knew this was coming.  We using one of our 4rths on a rb fo sho

I think he had a roster bonus coming up.  Someone posted yesterday that he was asked to take a cut to stay.   I am guessing a Shy Tuttle offer, and he must have refused.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
