Remember that one nut we had that claimed Trask was basically the new NFL superstar because he was tall?

I surely do, Trask was supposed to have learned how to be the next GOAT from Brady according to whoever that was

Dowdle's senior year of high school, he was switched to quarterback. The offense still operated under a rush-first mentality, using Dowdle as a duel-threat weapon. As a result, he set a Western North Carolina record for most touchdowns responsible for, with 63 total.

The quarterback ran for 51 touchdowns, added 11 passing TDs and even caught a pass for a score.

Rudolph deal doesn't impact Steelers approach on Rodgers

Though Mason Rudolph is back in Pittsburgh, the Steelers are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers' decision. But Rudolph's return makes the wait a little less agonizing. In Rudolph, the Steelers have a veteran quarterback with starting experience -- and perhaps even more valuable, experience in the Steelers' organization.

    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
