Bottom 10 Panthers of ALL TIME....

No kidding, if it weren't for injuries he would have been a Pro Bowl back for sure.

<------- Although my opinion might be a little bit biased on this one.

Anyone at the Bengals game this year and sees me would know it was me, I highly doubt there will be anyone else in the entire stadium wearing an authentic Biakabutuka jersey.

The hype to production ratio was what made my list the way it was. Timmy B was brought in with the expectation of being a world beater. 6 years later with an average of 420 yds rushing, 2 TD, and a fumble per year locked his place for me. Only Eric Shelton had the Panthers spending comparable amounts of time with him with lack of output.

david carr... lmao. and i remember when all the jake haters came out the woodwork just to try and put carr under center instead of delhomme. delhomme>>>>>>carr. lol.

david carr: oh god, there's a behemoth running at me, what do I do??? oh god... uh uh... duck... uhiopjiorjf, i'll pitch it back behind me, oh wait, that's the other team's lineman, oh sh!t!!!!!!!!!

 Everybody was fooled by Carr. To say now he was poo is easy, but at the time most clear thinking people believed it was Houston.

lol no .. he didnt hurt my feelings the fact that he wanted to milk people for money so badly then only play for half of it got under my skin a little... knowing that most of us would play for league minimum and i myself would play for even less

Wow. So anybody on our team that doesn't play for league minimum is stealing from the team? Do you have a job that pays more than minimum wage? Because you need to go in Monday and give that money back.

And all the folks saying Peppers and Delhomme took money? No, they didn't. They signed contracts that Marty Hurney put in front of them. So maybe his name should be on your lists. The only person I can think of in recent history that held out for more money was Beason, and that was his agent doing it.

To me it sounds like people who are posting Peppers and Jake are either a) trolling, or B) started following the team in 2005. How can you compare those guys to some of the other busts that we've drafted with a high pick or signed as free agents??

1. Rae Carruth, obviously drafting a murderer in the first round I think qualifies him for the top spot. Not only that, but his "promising" start to his career made us think the next year that "Nah, we're good at wide receiver, let's take Jason Peter in the first round instead of Randy Moss.

2. Sean Gilbert, not for his mediocre on the field performance, but for costing us two first round picks and a giant contract (at the time)

3. Jason Peter, yeah I would have much rather have had a drug addicted underachieving lineman than a receiver with "character concerns" (Moss).

4. Eric Shelton, complete bust in the 2nd round. At least other guys could use committed crimes and drugs as excuses, this guy just sucked. Some of the running backs picked later in the draft we took him in: Frank Gore, Marion Barber, Brandon Jacobs, Darren Sproles, and even undrafted Ryan Grant.

5. Rashard Anderson, first rounder who played for two years then was out of the league for drugs. Meanwhile, 176 picks later in the 2000 draft some guy named Tom Brady got picked.

6. Jeff Lewis, The fact that we gave up anything more than a McDonalds double cheeseburger to get him speaks volumes about shitty our front office was in the Seifert era.

7. Chuck Smith, the old we're gonna sign you because you were good against us idea.

8. Bruce Nelson, I feel sorry for him and all because his injuries weren't his fault...but at the end of the day, we took a guy who barely played instead of Anquan Boldin, Osi Umeniyora, Jason Witten, or Lance Briggs.

9. David Carr - He made 2007 football almost unwatchable for me. It's pretty bad when Vinny Testaverde can sign with your team at 58 years old and within one week make more of an impact than glove boy.

10. Tim Biakabutuka - Yes he had a few highlight reel moments. Still, Eddie George, Marvin Harrison, and Ray Lewis were first round talents that we passed over for him. His fumbling made Deshaun Foster look good by comparison.

Again, in no particular order:

Jeff Lewis

Sean Gilbert

Fred Lane

Dwayne Jarrett

Chris Weinke

Keary Colbert

Captain Munnerlein

Rick Manning Jr.

Rae Carruth

George Seifort

How can you say Fred Lane, Ricky Manning, or Captain Munnerlyn?

Fred Lane was undrafted. During his three years with the Panthers, he accumulated 2,001 rushing yards (the most in franchise history at the time) and 13 touchdowns. I think we made out on that deal. Ricky manning in the 03-04 Playoffs, he intercepted three of McNabbs passes in the NFC Championship, and against the Rams he had the interception that set the panthers up to win.

Why? How is he one of the worst Panthers ever?

He's 2009s 7th round pick who took over the nickleback position his rookie year. What has ever done to you? Stand you up for a date or something?

My guess is that he was doing that to get in a dig at the poster with Munnerlyn in his name that said Rod Smart was one of the 10 worst. Just a hunch.

Are you dating this guy or something? You need to change your screen name to "Munnerlyn Bitch."

    • It's also worth noting that Cam himself said that he felt safer when running vs. sitting in the pocket because he could see the contact coming and prepare for it. A QB running the ball doesn't have to be a sledgehammer. He just has to be effective.
    • That Falcons game is about as good as it gets. Especially on the road. I know the Falcons defense was bad but he was cooking with Coker, an undrafted rookie get the bulk of the receptions. If your QB has 5 TDs and 0 turnovers he is playing like a top QB, yardage be damned. The big question for me is how consistently can be play the whole season?  I don’t expect a game like that every week, but I also don’t want to see any performances like the pre benching or that Cowboys game (which was bad post benching). Bryce’s best shot at being the guy is becoming a mini-Burrow who is about as consistent as you can get at the QB position.  The good news is this QB class should be a fun one. So hopefully Bryce becomes the guy, if not it’s a nice class to let DC pick his QB and they should come into a great situation with a good OL, RB, young talented WRs etc…
    • Bryce Young is far less risky with his body when he runs than Richardson and doesn’t take many unnecessary big hits. Was much more worried about injury when he had that abysmal OL his rookie season than I ever would be when he runs/scrambles. 500/10 seems like a fairly reasonable prediction considering he had 250/6 in 12 starts last season. Of course literally anybody CAN get hurt, it’s just that we were assured by many huddlers that it was a sure thing with Bryce Young that he wouldn’t make it to this point in his career without significant injuries.
