Cracked a smile and had to read it twice to make sure I saw it correctly... This is quite a stretch from his usual Gaston Gazette pieces. From Carolina Growl:

Also, linebacker Landon Johnson, who was carted off the field and taken to the hospital Saturday night after a hip injury, did not have any broken bones and should be fine by the time the Panthers cut him.

Yeah I caught that in the other link to that article. He was wasted money and roster space.

In retrospect he was, but coming into this season he performed very well at Cinci. A lot of us thought he could challenge Diggs for a starting role. Maybe he'd be better for another team.

      Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?

      I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.

      I agree that he should’ve never been the pick at 1. In my 44 years I’ve never seen a team invest that much in a QB who is my size. I’m not meant for the NFL and neither is he.    Accepting we can’t change the past, I think it’s the correct call to keep playing him hoping that he will prove us wrong. I think we were dumb not to draft a QB this past year and let him learn and compete but that’s our reality.    I’m hoping this is the last year with the BY experiment and he deliverers us 1. To the playoffs or 2. The number one pick and we draft a real QB.

      In his first interview after the surgery he sounded absolutely miserable.  Man that must beat you down to have that done
