His highlights look good, too bad that didn't pan out. I saw Ryan Kalil and Charles Johnson were on the ticker for best players still available. Along with Steve Smith and Sidney Rice...:(

I just cant agree with Rice, he did absolutely nothing in MN until he got a QB worthwhile....

We still got Beason, Kalil, Charles Johnson, Dante Rosario and CJ Wilson out of that draft so overall it's still really good. But imagine if we drafted Steve Smith instead of Jarrett and Steve Breaston instead of Ryne Robinson. God our WR scouting blows lol

Nah, it's not the WR scouting that blows, it was the WR coaches who haven't developed anyone at the position since Steve Smith.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
