All 3 Drafted after Jarrett in 2007 and this doesnt even compare him to Sidney Rice or Steve Smith in the same draft. Minus James Jones at GB, the Jets and Jaguars are run first teams yet each of these WR's have better stats and I guarantee you they could learn their playbook in a reasonable time. Just ask Steve Smith..

what does that have to do with anything though? You really think Fox/Jake have given Jarrett a legitimate chance?

The past two seasons reports were he has looked great in practice. That didn't earn him many snaps b/c of the offense we have been running the past few years. Matt Moore couldn't get on the field with Jake doing what he did last year......you think Jarrett had a legit shot of leapfrogging Moose? When he did earn time on the field, he normally came through.

Look, Jarrett has flaws. He hasn't imo deserved the bashing he has gotten. A lot of other factors imo out of control could possibly apply.

All of those are 3rd WR just like Jarrett has been until Sims-Walker became a starter last year is the point. They have outperformed him while at a cheaper draft price and been more efficient when they have been on the time. Moore, in the times he has been on the field, has shown flashes. At no point in the games has Jarrett shown any flashes of being anything other than a pine rider. Beating up on the Saints second team secondary does not count.

I think Fox has given Jarrett every chance to take the #2 spot. He should have been cut when he could not beat out hackett but they have kept him two more years after that. The reason he dose not see the field is because he dose not know how to run routes. Thus why he cant get separation. Hell Jerry Rice was never a super burner but he could run routes like a motherfuger. Rices quickness is what he used to get by DBs. Im just not sure Jarrett posses speed or quickness.

but my point was Fox's system, Fox's loyalty to Moose and Jake were all factors....so just listing WRs imo doesn't mean that much. So you think Jarrett could have replaced Moose under Fox's watch? Moore couldn't even get on the field last season until injury......

I disagree, and even Fox has said so. Fox has said he has not been able to give Jarrett a lot of chances but everytime he has given him a chance he has delievered.

So you think Fox would have moved him ahead of Moose? simply b/c he was better last season? Jarrett look to run his routes better and get more seperation than Moose during the brief moments we saw him.

Why didn't Moore see the field sooner then last year?

Just to throw this out there...

If we thought a wideout who had 77 receptions, 1092 yards, and 7 tds over his first three years with us was one of the worst disasters to come through our team (...rhymes with Mary Tolbert), why are we being so lenient with a guy from the same college who can barely learn routes and plays, managing 33 receptions 388 yards, and 1 TD over his first three years? And yeah, I know he wasn't active for many games, but regardless he's been competing with Drew Carter, Colbert, DJ Hackett, Mark Jones, & Kenny Moore over this period. Ughh

He needs to be cut. And at this point, I could care less if he succeeds with the Seahawks or whoever may ****** him up. He should not be a Panther, he's had long enough. If not, he'll become another case of the Foster-Colbert-itas

He has delivered?

2009 vs NO @Car Did not Start 5rec 68yards 13.6avg 30TLNG 1TD

2009 vs ARI @ARI Started 2rec 22yards 11.0avg 17LNG 0tds

2008 vs TB @TB Started 1rec 4yards 4.0avg 4LNG 0tds

How is that even close to delivering when he has been on the field?

The guy has the biggest opportunity right now to get a starting spot for the first time ever with no real competition. He just needs to prove that in preseason. I don't think it will happen but if he does good I will pull for him. But if he doesn't prove shiit then they better cut his ass and go in a different direction.

b/c the few times he steps on the field like Fox said, he has made the grabs.....and some big ones in the eyes of a coach. There were a couple games when the only looks Jarrett got were on 3rd down....and he got the first.
