My observations~

This is what I saw tonight:

Moore: Looked sharp!

Clausen: Didnt LOOK like a rookie! wow...impressive. He did seem quick to check down, but heck...im for it!

Cantwell: Didnt seem like he had the same 'chances' but didn't play bad.

Oline: mmmm...well I think they need some tweaking BUT I know they will come through. They seem to do great for road pavers, but pass blocking not

so much.

Runnig Backs: We rule.

Wide Receivers:

Armanti: I know our front office and Fox know what they are doing..they drafted this phenom. Why they want to make him a returner/WR I don't know..seeing his QB stats again just make me cry. Wildcat this horse!

Jarrett: He isn't going quietly! Lord bless him! Moore looked better, and I like Lafell too!

Dline: Nice! Looked like we still have problems stopping the run (worry/ugh) but rushing the passer looked GREAT! I PRAY Brayton is OK. My beer bottle almost went through the tv. :(

Linebackers: mmm...not impressed. Too early to ask for Beason to move back to the middle? I mean, I want to like Connor but...ok..I'll wait a couple more games. I LOVE our linebackers though and want to see them kick tail.

Secondary: Flashes of frakkin brilliance...that one guy..Wilson? FAST. Nice.

Special Teams: bleh. I need to see huge leaps of improvement here...where is the hunger to tackle a kick returner? How hard is it to kick a ball in the in-zone...in a hurricane...Baker was the bright spot...LOVE him...I even loved his penalty tackle!!!

Coaches: Who knows..its pre season. Like Zod said, they have prescripted plays and arent worrying about what the Ravens are doing. I guess im in the minority here in the Huddle but Fox is awesome..best coach in the NFL.

*Did see Davidson up stairs! wow - new change or trying it out? Maybe he knew it would rain.

Announcers:

heh...the Gruden/Jaws squabbles make me laugh...Jaws is STILL the man! That QB draw call...no one does it better. Still wish they all didnt want to sleep with the Ravens..frakking Raven love fest. Ray Lewis is nothing but a thug/murderer.

I thought our O-Line looked pretty bad 1st 2nd and 3rd stringers.

No WR really stepped up, Moore with the one really good catch was about it.

Clausen looked poised.

Defense got a lot of pressure and stopped the run well. They could wrap up a bit better though.

personally, I thought the o line looked horrendous, specifically jordan gross. what the hell was up with that?

Moore looked pretty good. Clausen looked damn good (second stringers but still)

Cantwell looked horrible (in my opinion). was not impressed at all with him tonight.

d line looked good, secondary looked meh

hardy looked great.

i'm done. i had enough beer tonight, i am going to sleep the night away.

    • You making fun of or not realizing how important that actually is leads me to believe you don’t have either of those assets and are subconsciously upset about it, or you’ve never been in a position to be a leader and thus you don’t value good leadership which Bryce oozes with.
    • I said this last night to family. You can look at Bryce as not a “strong and physical” presence and that’s not going to change on you can look at it, that this guy has the type of skillset that sets him up to only get better for the next 5-7 years every year. He’s not going to know less about the game next year than this year. His timing will be better, his pocket presence better (even though the guy works around a pocket amazingly in my opinion), everything is just going to improve every year and I believed he’s already proved the doubters wrong other than nut huggers on here who just want a big strong man to drool over.
    • The Seahawks won an emotional, divisional, overtime rivalry game vs the Rams on a Thursday night (Dec 18).  That gives them 10 days to prepare for the Panthers, but the Christmas holiday fell a week later--I bet they were afforded an extra day for travel-many coming back east.  Following the Panthers, Seattle plays at San Francisco for the division title (in all probability).   The Rams finish the season with games against the Falcons and Cardinals, two likely wins, pushing them to 13-4.  The Niners finish the season with home games against the Bears and Seahawks. Seattle finishes the season with the Panthers on the road and SF in California.   It is easy to see how preparing for the Panthers, during the holiday break and with the Niners waiting for them in SF a week later for (what could be) the NFC West title and #1 Seed in the NFC, could create the perfect trap game scenario.  The Panthers at home are 5-2.   In the past 2 weeks, the Seahawks struggled to beat the Phillip Rivers Colts in Seattle and then pulled off a miraculous, emotional victory at home vs. the Rams.  I am not convinced that they are as good as advertised. Seattle is a TD favorite in Charlotte.  I feel that Carolina by 3 may be more accurate.  While I am still not confident in this team's consistency and it never seems to dominate, it sure feels like a trap game for Seattle to me.  How could they NOT be thinking of San Francisco right now?  They are not used to being in this position (current players) and it is human nature.  Carolina 27, Seattle 24.
